Are you eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrants/ ethnic minorities and refugees who have made Ireland their new home?


We are looking for dedicated Indigenous Irish individuals who share our vision of a welcoming and supportive community for all.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where immigrants and refugees can thrive, and we need your help to achieve this goal.

We are searching for volunteers who could support and serve as allies for those who are seeking refuge and a better life in Ireland.


How can you be of help?

In this role, you would be supporting immigrants and refugees as they navigate the challenges of adapting to a new culture and society.


Your responsibilities may include:

1. Cultural Exchange: Sharing your knowledge of Irish culture, traditions, and customs with newcomers, and learning from their diverse backgrounds in return.

2. Language Support: Assisting immigrants in improving their English language skills through conversation practice or language classes.

3. Community Integration: Guiding newcomers in accessing essential services, such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.

4. Emotional Support: Being a friendly face and offering emotional support to individuals who may be experiencing the stress of migration.

5. Advocacy: Raising awareness about immigrant and refugee issues, and advocating for policies that promote inclusion and diversity.

A commitment of 2 to 4 hours per week and monthly network meetings.

This role may require a long time commitment (6 to 12 months or more) but not less than 3 months.
