Homework & Afterschool support
Are you a parent with little or no English and need support to assist your child with homework and school subjects? Are you a parent with good knowledge of the English language but no knowledge of the Irish school system? Are you busy raising your child and also working to earn an income? Would you like support to prevent your child from dropping out of school? If your answer to any of the above questions is yes, our afterschool services are for you
Club days: Monday-Thursday
Opening times: 3 pm-6 pm
Age group: 4-12 yrs
Cost: €5 per session of 1 hour or €50/month
The club will be supervised by Garda-vetted staff, retired tutors and experienced volunteers.
Affordable tutoring & Learning support
Are you struggling with your studies and would you like help overcoming your academic challenges? Do you need some grinds but dread the cost? Or maybe you like to increase your points for third-level education? Whatever the reason we are here for you. We provide both group and one-on-one sessions, in person and online. We have an experienced team of garda vetted tutors. We can help with math, English, science, languages and others.
Multiactivity Summer Camp
Culture Connect's Camp offers multi-activity workshops to local and international participants of all nations; ages 4 to 17 years. Camp runs all through the summer months; over 4 weeks (2 weeks in Dundalk and 2 weeks in Drogheda), Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, focusing on workshops such as Arts & Crafts, Drama, Dance, Cooking, Sports, Language learning, Digital photography, Blogging, Computer coding and Youth leadership workshops; all designed to develop the potential of participants while creating fun.
This Intercultural Camp engages 40 to 80 children and young adults from different backgrounds. Participants rotate from one activity to the other every hour over four hours each day. While participants engage in various activities, they also meet and interact with new friends from different local schools and communities.
The camp hire tutors/camp assistants and volunteers who lead the children through a memorable experience as the activities are taught through fun, games, songs, arts, and crafts, role play, audio tape and DVDs and CDs. The camp ensures that camp staff and assistants are Garda-vetted and also comply with the GDPR.
