Louth Africa Day 2023

We want to express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone for joining us in celebrating Africa Day on Sunday 25th and 28th May in Louth. Your presence and active participation made the event a resounding success.

Whether you contributed through thought-provoking discussions, captivating performances, or simply by being present and supporting the cause, your performances and various activities created an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere that truly captured the essence of Africa; we are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and passion you dedicated to making the event a grand success.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Louth Africa Day planning committee, our youth, performers, volunteers, DJs, Photographers, African groups, market stalls, Louth County Chairperson, local TDs, Councillors and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life.

Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to showcasing Africa's rich heritage and fostering cultural exchange were truly commendable.

A huge thank you to Irish Aid, Louth County Council and AWS in communities for

sponsoring the Africa Day event and for being an integral part of this celebration.

We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to your continued involvement in future events that promote cultural understanding and unity.
