Our Aims and Objectives:
We plan to mark the upcoming event in conjunction with European Action Week against Racism on Friday 20th March, 2015. We are running a competition entitled 'Diversity in Drogheda' The aim of this competition is to encourage the community to express their views on the theme in any art form. Entries will be displayed on the day; best entries will be determined by attendees' votes and presents will be given to 5 best entries drawn from the following categories: individuals, Faith groups, community groups, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools.
Also, there will be an open discussion on the same theme and representatives from the above caterigories will be invited to take part in the discussion.
We would appreciate if you could please encourage your group, community, organisation and school to participate and be represented in this competition. Besides the competition, if your school or organisation has any music, dance, work etc promoting the work of diversity, we would be happy to give you a slot to showcase it on that day.
